JERUSALEM – Spirit-empowered Christian leaders from around the world converged on Jerusalem last week, in part, to discuss the upcoming global congress to be held in May 2015 in Jerusalem. Exciting plans unfolded for teaching, praise and prayer as thousands of Christians are expected to descend on the region May 20-25, 2015. Main sessions will be held in the new Jerusalem arena, which is slated to open in the fall of this year.

In response to increasing incivility, bullying and disrespect for others within society, nationally recognized leaders have launched of the worldwide Imago Dei campaign, an alternative discourse of truth and civility centered around recognizing and elevating the image of God in every human being—without exception.

A short film featuring NHL hockey player Mike Fisher, No. 12 for the Nashville Predators, released Thursday on iamsecond.com. Fisher, who plays center for the Predators and is married to award-winning country musician Carrie Underwood, is the first NHL player to join the elite roster of I Am Second films, which includes athletes, actors, models, musicians, pastors, politicians and everyday people.

The National Prayer Center is hoping to spark a nationwide revival with its new initiative to pray for and with the country’s elected officials.
