The Church of God Care Campus in Sevierville, Tennessee, which includes the Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) and Iris B. Vest Widows Ministry Center (WMC) look forward to the blessing of having work groups visit the campus during the summer months. One of the groups is from Pennsylvania. Pastor Jeff Hathaway, Greene Valley Church of God, and Pastor Adam Kidwell from the Claysburg Church of God join forces to make an incredible team of workers to include adults and their youth. This year, they had twenty-two (22) people who participated.

Over 1,500 people gathered at The Tabernacle in Orchard Park, NY, for the Eagles’ Wings “Legacy” conference. Under the leadership of Rev. Robert Stearns, this three-day event celebrated a 20-year milestone of annually bringing people from across the nation for inspiration and equipping.

Mark Burnett and Roma Downey’s The Bible miniseries has received three primetime Emmy Award nominations from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Pastor Rick Warren is expected to return to the pulpit this weekend for the first time since his youngest son’s death in April. A spokesperson for Warren announced Friday that the founder of Saddleback Church will begin a series of sermons titled “How to Get Through What You’re Going Through.”
