Sevierville, TN–The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) will officially turn 100 years old on December 17, 2020. For several months, the children’s home had been planning creative ways to celebrate this momentous occasion during a year marked with the ongoing pandemic. One of the first Church of God events to be cancelled in 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic was the Smoky Mountain Gathering. It was supposed to be a celebration of the 30th year of the event designed for senior adults in the Church of God.
