Cleveland, TN–The new clock and bell tower over Lee University’s South Campus Quad has been officially named the Darlia McLuhan Conn Forum and Bell Tower, according to a recent action by the Lee University Board of Directors. The naming honors the former First Lady of Lee, Darlia Conn, who led the university alongside her husband Paul Conn from Aug. 1, 1986 to Aug. 1, 2020.
Rev. B. Gary Harris, a retired ordained bishop in the Church of God, passed away on November 9, 2020. He was a member of Spring Creek Church of God, and served in multiple ministry capacities with the Church of God.
Sevierville, TN–The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home (SMCH) will officially turn 100 years old on December 17, 2020. For several months, the children’s home had been planning creative ways to celebrate this momentous occasion during a year marked with the ongoing pandemic.
