Sevierville, TN–The Smoky Mountain Children’s Home celebrated another landmark day in the life of the organization by dedicating the Miller Training Room honoring the generosity of Roy and Barbara Miller of Holmesville, Ohio. A deteriorating part of the administration building had become one of the campus’ greatest needs but was recently transformed into a state-of-the-art training room.
The 2018 Ministerial Internship Program (MIP) Commissioning Celebration was an outstanding success with tremendous preaching from Dr. Tim Hill, general overseer, and Dr. David Ramírez, assistant general overseer. Dr. Ramírez preached a challenging message to go into the world to reach the harvest on Friday night, and Dr. Hill preached a powerful message on being empowered for ministry by the Holy Spirit on Saturday morning. After the message, Dr. Hill led the administrative bishops, international office leaders, state leaders, and supervising pastors in praying a commission prayer for the MIP candidates and their spouses.
The Special Projects Office of Church of God USA Missions recently conducted its 28th annual National Senior Adult Retreat, the Smoky Mountain Jubilee, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, April 24-26, 2018, with a total of 1,312 gathered for the event.
May 23, 2018–Cleveland, TN–Rev. Jacqueline Smith was honored today with induction into the prestigious Hall of Prophets at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. The event took place at the seminary’s Cross Chapel.
Cleveland, TN—March 22, 2018—Fifty years ago today, church leaders gathered on the current campus of the Church of God International Offices to dedicate and cut the ribbon on a new four-story “general offices” building at Keith and 25th Streets.
The Lee University A Cappella ensemble Voices of Lee received three awards at the 2018 A Cappella Award ceremony, held in Nashville, Tennessee, this past Saturday.
