Church of God World Missions seeks to connect generations to the heart of the Gospel and to finishing the Great Commission. The hope is to show people of all ages that they can be involved in reaching the world. While the Send the Light initiative is focused on reaching cities, establishing churches, providing disaster response and relief, and aiding education, This Little Light of Mine’s segment reaches the young souls in these areas through the efforts of other small helping hands.
Since the summer of 2017, Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill has been adding to a document series titled, “Let’s Talk About It.” The opinion papers address topics where the general overseer offers, “insights and observations shared to inspire conversation.”
The Church of God in Kuwait, under the leadership of National Overseer Dr. Sushil Mathew, has more than doubled since 2014. A Bible School has been established, which now has over 25 students. Tim Hill was the first general overseer to visit and minister there.
Members of the Church of God Doctrine and Polity (D&P) Committee have released the latest from their research on contemporary cultural topics. The paper, entitled, “Perils of the Hyper-Grace Movement,” was written by Dr. David Han, dean at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and a member of the D&P Committee.
A task force has been regularly meeting to plan strategy and resources for GO FINISH 2020, a worldwide movement that focuses on all believers sharing their faith on May 23, 2020.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Leaders from across Pentecostalism gathered at the historic Mason Temple and world headquarters for the Church of God in Christ (COGIC) in Memphis on March 19 for the annual Pentecostal/Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) meeting and to celebrate the 25th-year anniversary of what is known as the “Memphis Miracle.” Church of God General Overseer Dr. Tim Hill represented the denomination at the meeting.
