Members of the Church of God Doctrine and Polity (D&P) Committee have released the latest from their research on contemporary cultural topics. The paper, entitled, “The Operation of Spiritual Gifts,” was written by Dr. Jerald Daffe, Professor of New Testament at Lee University’s School of Religion and a member of the D&P Committee.

Cleveland, TN: On February 18, 2019, the Church of God Benefits Board, Inc. celebrated its’ 25th anniversary of providing ministerial retirement benefits for Church of God ministers, missionaries, evangelists, chaplains, and church-related employees.
On April 29-30, 2019, the Lighthouse Cities Leadership Coalition met in Cleveland, Tenn. for their third annual meeting. The coalition of pastors and state leaders are a part of Church of God World Missions’ “Send the Light to the Cities” effort.
Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill has released his latest entry into the “Let’s Talk About It” series. Added last month, the subject is titled, “Financing A Culture or Funding A Vision – The Courage to Melt the Iceberg.” The post, first released on Church of God social media, addressed the tough topics of the tithe of tithes reduction process, tithe reallocation, and “defunding a managerial culture.”
It was a beautiful Friday morning in Ecuador when Charles and Mavis Thornton and their ministry team visited the public school. They had a fun party and presented the gospel, as they always do. But this time something unusual happened. This time every person present – 126 children and six adults – accepted Christ as their savior.
