JERUSALEM – Spirit-empowered Christian leaders from around the world converged on Jerusalem last week, in part, to discuss the upcoming global congress to be held in May 2015 in Jerusalem. Exciting plans unfolded for teaching, praise and prayer as thousands of Christians are expected to descend on the region May 20-25, 2015. Main sessions will be held in the new Jerusalem arena, which is slated to open in the fall of this year.

At least once a year, many Christians become aware of the great diversity of ways of adoring God. Hearts are touched, and people realize that their neighbors’ ways are not so strange. This celebration is not well known among Evangelical/Pentecostal churches in the USA, nevertheless those churches are invited to consider joining in prayer during this week.
On Dec. 10, thousands of supporters will join together in a National Day of Prayer to strengthen the fight against pornography. Some of the groups allied with Morality in Media participating in this effort include Alliance Defending Freedom, American Family Association, Family Research Council, Concerned Women for America, Movieguide and many more.
Since 2010, Houston area churches have provided an alternative to frenzied Christmas shopping on the day after Thanksgiving. Continuing this tradition, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, Beacon of Light Christian Center, St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, St. Francis Episcopal Church, and The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church, are each scheduling community service projects on Friday, November 29. These churches ask families and individuals to celebrate Bless Friday® as an alternative to Black Friday.
TULSA, Okla. — The Empowered21 Next Gen Youth Leaders Network (NGYN21) hosted a summit at Oral Roberts University comprised of youth leaders from around the globe. The youth leaders discussed topics such as Spirit-empowered living in the 21st century, the impact of the Holy Spirit on discipleship and developing young Spirit-empowered disciples in the ministry.
