Fritz Richard, author of several Christian books, has launched a Kickstarter project for his book, Make God Smile (www.kickstarter.com/projects/225937295/make-god-smile). The book will be completed over the next two months. It will help Christians discover hundreds of ways to make God smile on their lives. Fritz notes that “There will be stories, cartoons and bible references.”
On a recent Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa, not even snow could keep more than 2,000 children and their families from enjoying inflatable rides, music, karate demonstrations, snow cones, popcorn, puppets and much more at the Sioux City Convention Center. Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®), the world’s largest children’s ministry, hosted its annual Good News Spectacular for the fifth year in a row from 1 – 3 p.m., drawing folks from Woodbury, Plymouth, Ida, Lyon Sioux, Monona and Sac Counties. The purpose of this free event is to share the love of Jesus Christ and His saving grace with area children and their families.

Christ followers who believe in the love and redemptive purpose of God can pray with solid hope for Muslims nearby and in far off places. The troubles of our world today can slowly numb the hearts of some Christians against Muslim peoples. But the Bible reminds us “…we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies…” Contending in prayer for Muslim people may be the best thing we can do against the real enemy.
