Opening Address from International Executive Council to be Livestreamed

Cleveland, TN–The 2016-2018 edition of the Church of God International Executive Council will convene for the first time since the group was elected at the International General Assembly last July. The meeting is set to begin on Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00 a.m. and for the first time in the history of the Council meeting, the general overseer’s opening address will be streamed live on the Church of God website at www.churchofgod.org.

General Overseer Tim Hill will deliver the address following a brief devotional and opening with the Council members. Upon completion of the devotion, the livestream will begin, which will allow the church body to hear the vision of the Finish Commitment and to experience this portion of the Council’s opening session. According to Hill, the address should be approximately 60-80 minutes.

Video updates from the International Executive Council members will be posted periodically throughout the days they are in session. These updates can also be viewed on the Church of God website.

The agenda of the Council includes reports and presentations from the Division of Education and the Church Planting Task Force.
