Executive Council in Session This Week

April 26, 2016–Cleveland, TN—The Church of God International Executive Council is meeting for their regularly-scheduled April session starting at 9:00 this morning at the Leadership and Communications Center.

The Council of 25 leaders – 18 from the Council of Eighteen, five members of the International Executive Committee and a representative from Indonesia and South Africa – will discuss several vital issues related primarily to the upcoming General Assembly scheduled for July 19-22 at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Foremost on the Council’s agenda this week will be a review and fine-tuning of the agenda to be presented to the General Council when they begin deliberations on Tuesday morning, July 19. Months of preparation by the General Council Agenda Committee (GCAC) has produced a document which, once passed by the International Executive Council this week, will be released to all ordained bishops within 30 days of the Nashville Assembly.
