De Jesus Appointed Director of USA Hispanic Education

Enrique A. De Jesus has been appointed by the Church of God International Executive Committee to lead the denomination’s Hispanic educational programs in the United States.

De Jesus brings a wealth of educational experience, honors and degrees to a growing facet of Church of God ministries. He will direct all Hispanic education programs under the Church of God Division of Education. The office includes such initiatives as the Hispanic Bible Institutes and the Hispanic versions of the ministerial training programs Certificate In Ministerial Studies (CIMS) and Calling And Ministry Studies (CAMS).

De Jesus holds B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from University of Puerto Rico, M.Div. from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary and has completed all course work and research for the Doctor of Education degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In addition to serving as a pastor and missionary, De Jesus has served on educational boards and in capacities for the Church of God and for the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He has received numerous recognitions for his educational endeavors which include Who’s Who at University of Puerto Rico, Most Distinguished School Counselor and Distinguished Sunday School Superintendent.

“We are excited about what Rev. De Jesus will bring to this office,” stated Church of God Assistant General Overseer Mark Williams. “His background, training and passion for education in the Hispanic community will take us to a new level in this vital area of ministry in the Church of God.” Williams also serves as executive director of the Division of Education for the Church of God.
