Seminary Models Mustard Seed Program

The Church of God Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries trains nationals to reach their own. The Mustard Seed program calls for a shift in typical missions giving. Instead of relying on the few to donate the greatest amounts, Mustard Seed relies on many to give smaller monthly amounts. When many smaller seeds are sown into a ministry, greater financial stability is achieved.

Think Good Soil (Matt. 13:8)
“But some seeds fell on fertile soil and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty and even a hundred times as much as had been planted.”

Only seed sown on good soil produces a harvest. At the Church of God Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries, students from nations across Asia are trained for Pentecostal ministry and then return home to reach their own.

Asian Seminary students are good soil.

Think Harvest (Matt. 1 3:23)
“The good soil represents the hearts of those who truly accept God’s message and produce a huge harvest – thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted.”

When a seed is planted in good soil, a harvest is produced 30, 60, and even 100 times as much as had been planted. Asian Seminary students have accepted God’s message and His calling. They will produce a “great harvest” of souls in Asia and throughout the 10/40 window.

Think Asian Seminary (Matt. 9:37)
“The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest: ask Him to send out more workers for his fields.”

Asian students are the most effective workers in the Asian fields. Think good soil, think great harvest, think Asian Seminary. Help us continue this vital ministry that sends out effective workers. Become a Mustard Seed Partner and think small.

Typically, a few sowers plant large seeds. But with God, the smallest seed (the mustard seed) becomes the largest garden plant. If many sowers would plant small seeds in good soil, a great harvest would grow.

From the President of ASCM:

Today, effective global missions resides in equipping called men and women from every nation with the transformational tools needed to produce a crop and reap the Lord’s harvest at home. They already know the culture, speak the language, and understand the people of their nation; they just need the Pentecostal training to be productive.

Since 1973, the Church of God Asian Seminary of Christian Ministries has trained nationals to reach their own. Our graduates are fulfilling the Great Commission throughout Asia and the world. Times are changing, but our mission is the same. We need your help to keep this vital ministry going and growing.

When you donate to the Asian Seminary, you are reaching every nation in Asia through our graduates. With only a small “Mustard Seed” gift each month, you can partner with us as we equip Asian ministers to reach the unreached. Help us train Asians to reach the Asian harvest!

Please become a Mustard Seed Partner today!
