The Church of God’s Youth & Christian Education Department would like to announce the commencement of Kidfest 2010.
Frontier Kidfest was just held in Irving, Texas. Nearly 700 kids and their leaders from Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas converged on the campus of the Dallas-Fort Worth Westin Hotel for the weekend. The Trinity ballroom became a sanctuary of worship for the children as they lifted up praise and worship. Evangelist Chris Ryan and Discovery Kidz Ministry Team lead the children in worship as they brought to light the meaning of the theme, Tell the World, through characters, puppets, object lessons and preaching. Compel Ministry Team, directed by Shirley Spencer, lead the children in worship through the use of blacklight puppetry, sticks, and drama. Burnin’ Bush brought the kids to their feet as he lead them in some hip hop style of music. Missionaries Bobby and Tamitha Lynch (Ecuador), Elias and Teresa Herrera (Mexico), and Florentin Ghita (Romania) shared their missions endeavors with the kids. Mission Texas provided exemplified leadership through service. Children were saved, sanctified and filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Leaders saw creativity demonstrated to them through the various ministry aspects. Lives were impacted and children were challenged to go tell the world that Jesus is alive!
