Lee University will host Life After Lee on Feb. 26-27, featuring keynote speaker Emory Austin and entertainment by Steel Fitz.

Life After Lee is a conference for young women which will focus on the topics of work, finances, health, living, success, and purpose after graduation. Registration check-in will begin on Feb. 26 at 7:00pm in the School of Religion and will be followed by a networking reception, conference preview, and concert with Steel Fitz.

On Feb. 27 the conference begins with a continental breakfast and breakout sessions led by female professionals covering interests such as setting goals for success, living a healthy lifestyle, getting to work, and finding God’s purpose for life after Lee. The conference will conclude in the DeVos Recreation Center with a luncheon and presentation from keynote Emory Austin.

Emory Austin is an astute businesswoman with strong entrepreneurial credentials and is a member of the International Speaker’s Hall of Fame. Each year, only five professional speakers are chosen for this distinguished commendation, and Austin was the sole female honoree.

In 2006 she was honored as a Legend of the Speaking Profession. Emory was the three-year host of an issue-based television talk show, and has been featured in best-selling Simon & Schuster anthologies by request of the publisher.

Life After Lee is sponsored by the Delta Zeta Tau Alumni Association and is free of charge and open to all female students at Lee. Attendees are asked to bring 2-non perishable items that will be donated to the student food bank.
