The Church of God’s Alpha Omega campus ministry reports successful evangelism efforts in Texas.
John Unthank, field coordinator for Alpha Omega reports that the Abundant Life Church of God In San Antonio, Texas
and campus leader Johnny Oritz are making great inroads
to college campuses in their city. They have four college
student ministry groups at the San Antonio Community
College who minister to 60 students=2 0each week. They
have also formed new student led groups at St. Mary’s
University, Palo Alto College and the University of Texas
in San Antonio. At a recent student meeting at the
University of Texas two atheist students came to see
what the group was all about. One of these students
left the meeting as a born again Christian.
“Reports like these are increasing as our Alpha Omega
Church of God campus ministry groups are reaching to
students,=2 0staff and faculty,” Unthank said. “Continue to pray for our
students and our campus leaders.”
Alpha Omega is a ministry committed to reaching our Church of God sons and daughters on their college campus through establishing trained campus leaders and providing a full range of discipleship and evangelism training on campus.
