“The 100-year centennial is an once-in-a-lifetime celebration,” stated Rev. Douglas LeRoy, director of Church of God World Missions. “It will also give you a personal experience with missions. The question may be asked, ‘Why will people spend money traveling to the Bahamas when more funds are always needed for World Missions?’ Most people plan an annual vacation, so we hope the Centennial Celebration will provide a wonderful opportunity. A 100-year anniversary doesn’t come along often. This will be a grand possibility for us to commemorate the vision that has moved the Church of God into 181 nations/territories within the scope of a century and to clarify our vision for our future. We will celebrate our missions heritage and look ahead to our unlimited horizons.”
