The Church of God World Missions’ children’s Web site, Mission Possible, has been updated with tools to help celebrate the upcoming Centennial of World Missions.
Geared towards parents and teachers, the resource gives ideas, activities, quizzes and recipes to help children participate in the 100th birthday of World Missions, which will be celebrated in January 2010. The materials are an excellent way to discover what has happened in the last 100 years and can also be helpful in guiding parents and teachers to come up with other ideas to celebrate.
In 1910, R.M. and Ida Evans felt the call to take the gospel to the Bahamas, and thus a ministry that now reaches into 168 countries was born. Children can celebrate that milestone by helping their parents make some Bahamian-inspired food or learn about the history of World Missions.
