Upward Sports, recognized as the world’s largest Christian youth sports organization, is celebrating 30 years of ministry. Since 1995, the organization has partnered with churches across the United States to use sports as a bridge to engage families, strengthen communities, and point people to the love of Christ.
What began as a local vision in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has grown into a nationwide movement. Over three decades, Upward Sports has partnered with thousands of churches, offering programs in basketball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading, volleyball, baseball, softball, and pickleball. In 2024, the organization expanded to include adult running programs, broadening its reach to impact entire families and multiple generations.
