GWI Donates Instruments to Indonesian Ministry
Cleveland, TN—Global Worship Initiative (GWI), through its outreach arm, Instruments of Grace, has delivered a first donation of keyboards, drums, guitars, and sound systems to Poppi’s Kitchen, a ministry with multiple locations throughout Indonesia.
GWI, a ministry of the Church of God under the Division of Discipleship, was launched last year to disciple worshipers to inspire transformative creative worship and develop worship leaders, and offer support and resources to worship pastors, musicians, singers, and song writers.
“Because of God’s goodness, Instruments of Grace is blessing the ministry of Poppi’s Kitchen, led by Tommy and Poppi Smith,” stated GWI Director H.W. “Dusty” Wilson. “Today, the first shipments of are being prepared and sent to selected Poppi’s Kitchen locations. These tools will help build bridges to those of other faiths, evangelize, and disciple the next generation to praise, worship, and pray.”
“At Global Worship Initiative, we believe that music inspires, heals, and uplifts,” Wilson continued. “By providing access to musical instruments, we unlock creative potential, foster emotional expression, and strengthen communities. Through music, we aim to bring lasting transformation—raising up future leaders, building self-esteem, instilling hope, and ultimately serving the Lord.”
Poppi’s Kitchen is a holistic ministry reaching village children in Indonesia. Their vision seeks to be, “touching their heads through education, their hearts through spiritual guidance, and their stomachs through meals.” The work serves a vast and ready harvest in need of love and truth.
Wilson summarized the donation by saying, “Together, we are building a bridge—bringing light, love, and the power of worship to the nations.”
