The BLIND Surprises Hollywood

Tread Lively, GND Media Group, and Fathom Events announce the successful opening weekend of THE BLIND, which premiered in theaters nationwide September 28. The film delivered $5.1 million in ticket sales in over 1700 theaters, finishing 4th at the box office on opening weekend, including Thursday previews, with an impressive 99% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The distribution is being handled by Fathom Events, who introduced The Blind as one of the first titles in Fathom’s new specialty distribution model, giving the film a ten-day run based upon the quality of the production, the powerful, uplifting story and how it would resonate with audiences.
