Smoky Mountain Gathering ’23 Slated for Next Month

For more than 30 years, the Church of God has anticipated the annual Smoky Mountain Gathering, a fun-filled three days of music, worship, fellowship, and talent for Church of God senior adults.

The jam-packed 2023 event takes place next month, April 25-27 at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tenn. The lineup of musical performers includes gospel groups 11th Hour and The Browders, as well as Pastor Clint Brown and Southbound. In addition, vocalist Angie Primm will bring her unique style of Christian music. Also on tap is Christian comedian Tim Lovelace, as seen on Gaither Homecoming videos. The always dynamic Voices of Lee will also be present. Finally, Smoky Mountain Gathering delegates will hear the testimony and award-winning talents of Todd Tilghman, winner of the 2020 season of NBC’s “The Voice.” Tilghman is also a credentialed Church of God minister.

Keynote speakers for the evening events include Pastor Tommy Bates and Church of God General Overseer Tim Hill. Other highlights include a banquet sponsored by SpiritCare, and a special breakfast hosted by Ministry to the Military, which will include a tribute to veterans and a keynote address from Cleveland, Tennessee Mayor Kevin Brooks.

No Smoky Mountain Gathering would be complete without the popular Senior Adult Talent Showcase. Delegates will be entertained by their peers with some of the most diverse, entertaining, and moving performances.

All the above is available for an event registration fee of only $85. More information about the talent showcase, events, hotels, and how to register can be found at the website www.smokymountaingathering.com.
