Hill Releases Statement on the Death of Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. General Overseer Tim Hill offered the following statement regarding the passing of Great Britain’s longest-ruling monarch:
“The Church of God embraces and values greatly the fellowship of multiple thousands of constituents in the membership of the New Testament Church of God throughout the United Kingdom. Today, may we join in prayer for the Royal Family and all citizens of the United Kingdom as the world mourns the loss of Queen Elizabeth II.
Queen Elizabeth II served through multiple wars, changes in government around the world and modern advancements that few people alive have experienced. She helped her country navigate these changes with incredible grace & diplomacy.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the Royal Family and the member states of the Commonwealth at this time. We pray they are met with peace and comfort as we honor Her Majesty The Queen for her 70 years of faithful service.”
