LEAD Conference Highlights Pre-Assembly Events

The popular LEAD Conference will once again be part of pre-Assembly activities when the 78th International General Assembly of the Church of God takes convenes on July 25-29, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.

The conference takes place on Monday, July 25 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm in the Lila Cockrell Theatre, on the street level of the Gonzalez Convention Center. LEAD is free to all delegates registered for the General Assembly, but seating is limited as close to 2,000 have already registered for this one-day conference featuring four dynamic church leaders.

Tod Bolsinger, Amanda Crabb, Maury Davis, and Larry Stockstill will headline LEAD under the theme, “Leading Through Unchartered Territory.” The speakers will speak in six sessions that will address topics dealing with church, family, spiritual, mental, and personal health.

Tod Bolsinger carries the title of “Senior Congregational Strategist,” as well as Associate Professor of Leadership Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary in California. He is also author of several books, including “It Takes a Church to Raise A Christian.” Tod’s expertise lies in discipleship, community building, church leadership, strategic planning, and change management.

Amanda Crabb is perhaps best-known for her ministry in music and worship as part of the Crabb Family Singers, but she is also co-founder of Crabb Ministries International and senior pastor of Restoring Hope Church in Hendersonville, Tenn., alongside her husband, Aaron. She will also be the keynote speaker for the International Women’s event two days later on Wednesday, July 27.

Maury Davis is a specialist in church growth and leadership development with a miraculous testimony of deliverance. Following a radical conversion behind prison walls, Maury, and his wife, Gail, founded the Cornerstone Church in Nashville where they served as pastor for 27 years. His success is a testimony to his belief in and passion for empowering those around him to grow, take ownership, inspire others, and move forward.

Larry Stockstill is an author, pastor, and founder of Pastors University, whose mantra is “teaching leaders to leave a legacy.” In 2001, he began the Surge Project, a church planting model based on mentoring and multiplication. By 2015, over 22,000 small, rural churches had been planted in twelve world zones. Pastors University, founded in 2020, features Stockstill’s top “50 lessons from 50 years.”
