Christ’s Birthday Offering Is Annual Tradition

Cleveland, TN—Church of God World Missions is once again sponsoring Christ’s Birthday Offering, an emphasis on an annual event to be light in a dark world.

“It’s because of His gift that we are called to be a light to those who are suffering throughout our communities and across the globe,” stated Dr. David Griffis, general director of Church of God World Missions. “As 2021 comes to a close, we have an amazing opportunity to make monumental impacts on God’s kingdom.”

Every year during the Christmas season, Church of God World Missions asks for partnerships through Christ’s Birthday Offering. This generosity is a way for individuals and churches to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world that needs not only food, shelter, clothing, and safety…but also hope.

Individuals are asked to consider making a one-time donation of $20.21 to Christ’s Birthday Offering sometime during the month of December. This can be received individually or through a church-sponsored emphasis.

According to World Missions leadership, one hundred percent of gifts received will go to help those in need, such as feeding villagers, helping ministers’ families, rebuilding churches, and sustaining orphans and widows in South and Central America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. It will also help those closer to home who have suffered immeasurable loss due to Covid, disasters, and poverty.

“This gift will represent your hard work, time, and most of all, your careful consideration to represent Jesus to ‘the least of these,’” Griffis said.

Christ’s Birthday Offering donations can be given throughout the season of Christmas. Please mail all gifts to Church of God World Missions, P.O. Box 8016, Cleveland, TN, 37320. For online gifts, please visit cogwm.org/cbo, or by phone at 1-800-345-7492. Please designate Project #020-0803.
