Cleveland, TN—Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill has announced a special online worship event slated for Thursday, September 16 at 7:00 p.m. EST.
“Breakthrough: In a Time of Pandemic” will be carried live on the Church of God Facebook page (@COGHQ) and will feature a time of worship, prayer, announcements, and keynote message.
Leading praise and worship will be 11th Hour, an award-winning gospel trio, who will be performing live in the studio at the Church of God International Offices. Bringing the message for the evening will be Dr. Mark Rutland, well-known church leader, pastor, and former president of Southern University and Oral Roberts University. Rutland is director of the National Institute of Christian Leadership and Global Servants, a missions organization with focused efforts in Ghana and Thailand. He is also a New York Times best-selling author.
“We are in the midst of uncertain times,” stated Hill. “As we navigate the resurgence of a global pandemic, we need the reassurance that Christ is still in control and He is guiding us toward a victorious breakthrough of epic proportions. If God is for us, who can be against us!”
