A year after “The Return” – a global movement of prayer and repentance that began with the largest live broadcast in Christian history seen by over 42 million people – comes the “Africa Returns” Prayer Convergence September 10-11 with three free simulcasted events that people worldwide can watch and participate in.
“As a dark world Antichrist system seems to be rising as a one-world government, attempting to steal the sovereignty of nations, Joel 2:15-16 tell us what we must do: ‘Blow the trumpet in Zion; consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly; gather the people,'” says Rev. Kevin Jessip, co-founder of The Return International. “God is about to do something new and glorious.”
Starting at 5 a.m. EST on Friday, September 10, join The Return co-founders Jessip and Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, along with Dr. Oluwasayo (“Sayo”) Ajiboye and others, via simulcast as the continent of Africa cries out to God in repentance, prayer, and worship from a venue in Ibadan, Nigeria, and pray through the night until midnight EST.
“We believe that all the things that have been happening in Africa – the violence, the confusion, the leadership problems, the injustice, the wars, the famines – that when we return to God, God will have an answer for these things,” says Dr. Ajiboye, chairman of Africa Returns.
In tandem with the Africa Returns Prayer Convergence, The Romans 9:11 Project will be broadcast on Saturday, September 11, starting at 11:59 a.m. until 2 p.m. EST, and the Redigging the Wells of Revival event on Azusa Street in Los Angeles will broadcast Saturday, September 11, from noon to 9 p.m. EST.
