BMG-Global had several films under their distribution partnership who brought home laurels from the annual NRB: ICVM Crown Awards ceremonies held in Nashville, TN last week. The victories included 3 Golds, 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze in the following categories: Best Comedy, Best Narrative under 250k, Best Lead Actress, Best Picture, and Best Evangelistic Film.
The GOLD Award for Best Comedy and BRONZE Award for Best Picture, HOME SWEET HOME, a film about a modern-day romance with the innocence of yesterday. It was produced by 5×5 Productions.
The GOLD Award for Best Narrative under 250k, and SILVER Award for Best Picture, MAN’S BEST FRIEND, a film that shows the parallels between the treatment of wounded military veterans and ‘last chance’ shelter dogs. It was produced by CDI Productions.
The GOLD Award for Best Lead Actress, KAREN ABERCROMBIE for her performance in DISCARDED THINGS, a film about the life of an esteemed music professor who is ejected from her lavish academic world into the harsh reality of teaching at-risk youth.
The SILVER Award for Best Evangelistic Film, LUCY SHIMMERS AND THE PRINCE OF PEACE, a film about how a hardened criminal crosses paths with a precocious little girl who is helped by an angel to change hearts during the holiday season. It was produced by Rob Diamond.
