America’s Prayer Meeting II: A National, Multidenominational Event

More than a hundred-thousand people joined America’s Prayer Meeting I, a national, virtual prayer event Livestreamed across the nation last month, according to P. Douglas Small, event coordinator.

Participating guests included prayer leaders from across a spectrum of the nation and its churches – Dr. Dave Butts, chair of the National Prayer Committee; Judge Vance Day of Promise Keepers; Kay Horner, Executive Director of the PCCNA and the Awakening Alliance; Michael Obi, of the African Strategic Alliance; Richard Blackaby; Dan Biser, Broken Before the Throne; Larry Lane of the Sentinel Group; Dave Kubal, Intercessors for America; Karen Kovell of the Hollywood Prayer Network; Lou Engle and Ben Atkinson, Sealed; Kathy Branzel of the National Day of Prayer Task Force – and many more.

America’s Prayer Meeting II will take place on Monday and Tuesday, April 12-13. Dr. Dave Butts and P. Douglas Small of Project Pray will host the evening, which will feature the corporate prayer service at the Central Church of God in Charlotte, NC., led by Pastor Loran Livingston.
On Tuesday morning, at 10 AM EST, the special session, “Look What God Is Doing,” will feature cameo profiles of prayer and unity, of emerging traces of revival in the nation at 10 AM EST. Brian Alarid of America Prays will lead this segment. Leaders from cities all over the nation will share what God is doing as pastors and believers come together to pray! The long-awaited revival has begun!

That afternoon, the focus will be on upcoming prayer events – the National Rooftop Prayer Experience in Washington, DC planned May, along with the National Day of Prayer; and on Pentecost Sunday weekend, the March for Jesus event; and finally, the ‘Pray America, Pray’ saturation prayer events across the nation that are planned in July 2021.

On Tuesday evening, Doug Small will be joined by John Robb, of Transform USA, formerly leader of the International Prayer Council; Tom Phillips, Vice President of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association; Loran Livingston, Pastor, Central Church of God; Terry Teykl, International Prayer Leader and others. The focus will be – Praying Pastors: Praying Churches.

P. Douglas Small, the event coordinator, said, “We are providing virtual places where America can meet for prayer – prayer that invites God’s intervention. We have no other hope!”
