Pastor Appreciation Day in the Church of God will be Sunday, April 25, 2021. The annual observance gives local churches the chance to honor their shepherds.
Resources for Pastor Appreciation Day have been made available through the Church of God Adult Discipleship Department. This year’s theme is “Stand with Your Pastor,” particularly appropriate as all churches have navigated the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic over the past year.
“The theme is so timely after a rough and trying 2020,” stated Wayne Brewer, director of Adult Discipleship. Brewer stated that materials available from the ministry include bulletin covers, church announcement posters, bookmarks, love gift envelopes, prayer cards and resources . . . “all of which are beautifully themed together to celebrate your pastor and family!”
