America’s Prayer Meeting Begins Tonight

America’s Prayer Meeting, a nation-wide virtual two-day prayer event originating from the Church of God International Offices Leadership and Communications Center, begins with Pastor Loran Livingston from the Central Church of God in Charlotte, N.C., tonight, March 15, at 7 PM EST.

Pastor Livingston has been hosting a prayer meeting, which before the Covid19 crisis was drawing, at times, a turn-away crowd of thousands of participants.

He has boldly declared to his congregation and its followers that the nation’s only hope is found in our turning to God with all our hearts.

The prayer meeting will be streamed at www.americapray.net and social media outlets at americapray365.

The nation’s churches are being invited to participate in this evening of prayer on behalf of the nation, focusing on revival and spiritual awakening. Congregations across the nation are opening their doors for this special evening of prayer.

“We want to see the nation in prayer,” P. Douglas Small, event organizer noted. “We want God to look across the nation and see, from coast to coast and border to border, both believers and pastors with their congregations in prayer, united prayer, with one voice, crying out to God for a spiritual awakening.”

Following the prayer event will be two afterglows, one led by OneCry, a national evangelical prayer mobilization ministry, led by James Pool and Byron Paulus, of Life Action Ministry, at 9 PM EST. A second afterglow will be led by Ben Atchinson of Sealed, a Gen Z and Millennial prayer mobilization effort.

On Tuesday, following the Monday evening events, there will be a collage of both information and intercession, inspiration, and prayer at 9 AM EST.

The Livestream will be available at www.americapray.net.
