U.S. News Ranks Lee University Online in Top 75

Cleveland, TN–Lee University’s online program, surveyed along with more than 1,200 regionally accredited institutions by U.S. News and World Report, was recently ranked 75 among 337 U.S. schools with online bachelor’s degree programs.

“There’s big news in higher education today, and Lee University is a part of the story,” said Mark W. White, vice president of U.S. News and World Report. “The U.S. News 2021 Best Online rankings evaluated the most respected and in-depth of U.S.-based degree-granting programs that are designed to be administered online.”

Best Online Bachelor’s Programs is one of four rankings Lee received for the 2021 assessment. Other rankings include being number 75 in Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans, number 79 in Best Online Bachelor’s in Business Programs, and number 197 in Best Online MBA Programs. “It is humbling to see U.S. News and our peer institutions recognizing Lee’s work in producing high quality online programs,” said Dr. Joshua Black, executive director for Lee’s Division of Adult Learning (DAL). “There are plenty of excellent universities on the U.S. News list and to be listed among them is an honor.”

Since offering its first online class in 1999, Lee’s online program has grown to a current enrollment of over 800.

The Lee University DAL offers six undergraduate degree programs, four master’s degree programs, and five certificate programs. The Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science programs include Bible and Theology, Business Administration, Christian Studies, Criminal Justice (with two emphases options), Ministry Leadership (with eight emphases options), and Liberal Studies.

“Our faculty and staff work hard to produce a top notch ‘Lee Experience’ for our online students literally all around the world,” said Black.
