East Central Hispanic Region Dedicates New Offices

On Tuesday, January 21, 2020, the East Central Hispanic Region of the Church of God formally dedicated a new regional office. The property is located at 600 25th Street in Cleveland, across from the Church of God International Offices.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended members of the East Central leadership, Friends and supporters and all five members of the International Executive Committee. General Overseer Tim Hill led the ribbon-cutting along with Administrative Bishop Dr. David Munguia Zelada. The property was purchased by the East Central Region on April 11, 2019 and replaces offices previously located on Short Street in Cleveland.

The property was purchased and remodeled to accommodate five offices, a conference room, lobby, a kitchen, dining room, commons area and a printing room. Several other guests joined in the celebration, including Cleveland Mayor Kevin Brooks, and the eight Hispanic regional board members: Dr. Victor Pagan, Rev. Lincon Guerra, Revda. Berta Vega, Rev. Mario Urbina, Rev. Silvio Vigo, Dr. Enrique De Jesús, Rev. Manuel López, and Revda. Rosa Casco.

The relocation and remodeling effort was supervised under the administration led by Dr. David Munguia Zelada, Administrative Bishop; Maribel Morales de Munguia, Women’s Discipleship; Rev. Juan Carlos Bixcul Perez, Youth and Discipleship; Ana Yenori Bixcul, Administrative Assistant; Rev. Orlando Valenzuela, Director of Education and Credentials; Rev. Isai Roberto Zamudio, Director of USA Missions / Men; and Sofia Soriano: Accountant.

Munguia Z stated, “This moment was well represented by what was said in Psalm 126: 3 ‘The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!’”
