Office of Church Planting Announces Intensives

Beginning January 24-25, 2020, the Church of God Office of Church Planting will conduct a Church Planter Launch Intensive at the Plant City Church of God in Plant City, Florida. The location is a change from the previously announced location of the Church of God State Campground in Wimauma, Florida.

During the past three years, the Church of God has planted over 700 life-giving churches. During the past two months, the Office of Church Planting has conducted three Awaken Church Planter Interest Meetings and two Church Planter Launch Intensives. In all, 197 people have been trained in church planting principles, according to Mitchell Maloney, director.
“Plant City, Florida is approximately 30 minutes east of Tampa, and is a great place to train church planting couples, launch team members, Church Planting Task Force members, and pastors who are interested in planting churches,” Maloney said. “We will train for organic church plants which include mother/daughter church plants, multi-site churches, and urban center church plants. Plant City is a beautiful place especially in January, so don’t miss this great opportunity.”
