Cleveland, TN—The Lee University School of Nursing program was recently ranked #1 in the state of Tennessee by RegisteredNursing.org, a national organization dedicated to advancement of the profession of nursing.
RegisteredNursing.org ranks schools across all 50 states. The organization analyzed the 44 institutions in Tennessee that offer qualified nursing programs.
“Selecting the best nursing school in Tennessee can be difficult,” the online report explained. “To make the process easier (we) first look for a school that supports students towards licensure and beyond. A great way to measure this is through NCLEX-RN ‘pass rates.’ We have ranked the top 20 nursing schools in Tennessee by analyzing current and historical NCLEX-RN ‘pass rates,’ meaning the percentage of graduates who pass the exam, out of the 44 RN programs in the state. Programs reviewed include schools that offer an Associate in Nursing (ADN/ASN), BSN, or Direct-Entry MSN Degree.”
The report went on to say that, “Lee University tops the ranks with a Christian-centered BSN program for students in and around Cleveland, TN. Lee offers students a rigorous curriculum focused on holistic and compassionate care, with numerous nursing scholarship opportunities available.”
Of the 44 schools listed, Lee was the only one with a perfect score of 100. Other Tennessee schools in the Top 10 included University of Tennessee-Martin, Jackson State Community College, University of Tennessee-Health Science center, Carson Newman University, Tennessee Tech, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
