Tony Lane Honored for Years of Children’s Ministry

Rev. Tony Lane, coordinator of Children’s Ministries, was recently honored by the Youth and Discipleship Department of the Church of God.

Lane was presented with the Lifetime Impact Award by Director of Youth and Discipleship, David Blair, for his many years of service to the children’s ministry of the Church of God. Blair was accompanied by Rob Bailey, International Assistant Director for Youth and Discipleship.

The award recognized Lane for, “his excellence in Children’s Ministry, example in servant leadership, commitment to his family, and sacrifice for the global harvest. His life and ministry has touched kids and leaders around the world. Children’s Ministries was birthed in his heart and realized through the development of FOCUS, Kidfest, and Global Missions training teams. Tony and Joy have given their lives to Discipleship ministry in the local church, state / regional work, and as International Children’s Ministries Coordinators for more than 35 years. Tony and Joy have operated under a ‘family first’ mantle which has produced children and grandchildren who are followers of Christ. Their sacrifice, faithfulness, and dedication both locally and globally is immeasurable, and their investment has impacted multiple generations. It is with great honor that Youth & Discipleship recognizes Tony P. Lane with the Lifetime Impact Award.”

In addition to his duties with Youth and Discipleship, Lane serves as administrative bishop for the USA Romanian Church.
