Women’s Ministries Events Begin This Friday

Starting this Friday, September 8, the Church of God Women’s Ministries department will hold a series of regional one-night rallies across the country, entitled “Faith Fire Freedom” Celebrations. The first of the gatherings will be held at Potter’s House Church in Columbus, Ohio, starting at 7:00 p.m.

Paula Hill, Director of Women’s Ministries for the Church of God, said, “On behalf of the International Women’s Ministries department, I want to personally invite you to attend one of our five regional Faith Fire Freedom celebrations. The women of the Church of God do not want to miss these powerful one-night only events. We will celebrate our faith, our heritage, and the goodness of God, while also enjoying the company and a few laughs with fellow believers. I look forward to seeing you there!”

Dr. Timothy M. Hill, General Overseer of the Church of God, stated, “When Spirit-filled Pentecostal women come together in worship, lives are impacted forever…Many gain a renewed hope, some are called into new avenues of ministry, but all get to experience the joy that comes from the fellowship of being around other Christian women. The ladies of our church can’t miss the blessing that they will receive from attending one of these celebrations.”

In addition to Columbus, the dates and location of the remaining four celebrations are:

• West – September 15 – Free Chapel, Irvine, California
• Northeast – September 29 – Rehoboth Church of God, Bloomfield, Connecticut
• South – October 6 – New Hope Church of God, Sevierville, Tennessee
• Southeast – November 17 – Sanctuary Church, Orlando, Florida
