Black Ministries Fellowship Conference Set for July 19-22

The 17th Biennial International Fellowship Conference, sponsored by Church of God Black Ministries, will be held July 19-22, 2017 at Cathedral of Faith Church of God in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

A number of noted leaders are scheduled to present as keynote speakers and activities will include several workshops conducted by International Offices leadership.

Nightly services from Wednesday through Friday begin at 7:00 p.m.Keynote speakers include Pastor Diane Jacques St. Surin, Evangelist Jonathon Zeigler, Evangelist Jacqueline Gates, Bishop Chris Moody, Bishop Dannie Williams, and Church of God General Overseer Timothy M. Hill.

Each morning will be filled with informative workshops from 9:00 – 11:00 conducted by various leaders and on a number of pertinent topics. On Thursday morning, Bishop Danny Kyei-Poakwa will lead a session entitled, “Synergy from the Pew to the Pulpit.” Bishop Lennox Walker will lead a workshop on “Honor,” while International Youth and Discipleship Director David Blair is set to conduct a session for youth and young adults.

Friday morning’s workshops will include a session on leadership conducted by Dr. Fred Garmon and Bishop Ron Binda who will address the topic, “Youth One on One.” The conference will conclude on Saturday with a morning session led by Director of USA Missions, Mitchell Maloney, who will speak on Church Planting and Revitalization.

A luncheon specially for senior pastors and spouses will feature four church leaders including Raymond Hodge, director of business and records for the Church of God who will address, “Who Will Pay for the Harvest?” Administrative Liaison to the General overseer David Ray will speak on “Second and Satisfied,” while Pastor John Morgan is set to speak on the topic of “Crating a Culture of Generosity.” The luncheon will be highlighted by General overseer Hill who will address the overriding theme of the Church of God, the FINISH Commitment.
