Men and Women of Action Rally Slated for February

The annual Celebration Rally for Men and Women of Action (MWOA) will take place this year on February 17-18 at the New Hope Church of God in Kodak, Tennessee.

Keynote speaker at the rally on Friday evening will be Rev. Tim Hill, general overseer for the Church of God. A special highlight of the rally will be a celebration of the 18 years of Hugh Carver’s leadership as director. There will be a reception in honor of Carver immediately following the Friday evening service. The service begins at 6:30pm and the Saturday morning session begins at 9:00 a.m.

“The MWOA International Rally is a time of celebration as we look back into the previous year and celebrate the projects that MWOA has worked on and seen to completion,” stated Teddie Bennett of MWOA. “It is also a time of planning and preparation as we look ahead into the remainder of 2017. The annual rally might be of special interest to anyone wanting to get involved in short term missions and learn more about joining an MWOA team or signing up for a trip!”

MWOA is an independent benevolent organization with roots in the Church of God. Founded in 1983 by Mr. Bob Pace, MWOA has impacted thousands of lives through disaster assistance and construction labor. Along with other partnering agencies, MWOA is one of the first responders to tragedies and natural disasters across the U.S. and around the world.
