Les Simmons, singer, songwriter, and lead evangelist for Bring Division, announced a year-long church tour beginning in early 2016.
When asked about the motivation for this tour, Simmons said, “When we consider current events in our country, and in our world, it becomes clear that division is already taking place. The only question is, which side of the dividing line will we choose to be on? We cannot be lukewarm in our faith, and as we watch the growing hatred and persecution of Christianity, at home and abroad, we must hold fast to the Truth, and obey God rather than men.”
As examples of Christian persecution, Mr. Simmons pointed to this year’s Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriages, and last month’s slaying of Christian students at Umpqua Community College in Oregon. Furthermore, he mentions the globalist agenda currently being promoted by the United Nations, under the guise of Sustainable Development and Environmental Responsibility (Climate Change), and the fact that these One World ideologies are even being supported and championed by the current Pope, Francis. Mr. Simmons’ summary of these issues ended with this statement, “As a fallen, imperfect, and sinful people, humanity will never be successful at establishing global peace. The only one who can do that is the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, when he returns to establish his millennial kingdom. Any attempt to create such a kingdom without Him is not only doomed to failure, but is the work of Satan himself, as he sets the stage for the emergence of the Antichrist.”
Bring Division’s national church tour is being financed through a GoFundMe campaign, which can be found at www.gofundme.com/bg6zwm3c, or by visiting www.bringdivision.com, which currently links directly to the GoFundMe page. The ministry asks that anyone who supports the spread of the Gospel consider making a donation in support of the tour. Parties interested in learning more about the ministry, or having press related inquiries, should review the GoFundMe page, and then send an email to bringdivision@gmail.com with an appropriate subject line. Those interested in having an event at their home church added to the tour schedule should likewise send an email to the same address containing all relevant contact information for their church’s event coordinator.
