Worship Illuminator Coming to Pentecostal Theological Seminary

Cleveland, TN–Next Tuesday, September 22, the Pentecostal Theological Seminary will have a special guest for chapel, Stephen Proctor. Because of the anticipated attendance for this event, the location of the chapel service will be the Bryant Fellowship Hall at the North Cleveland Church of God at 11:00 a.m.

Special guest Stephen Proctor is a curator of visual worship who desires to see the Church’s eyes opened to the beauty of the unseen. He specializes in illuminating sacred spaces with a fusion of art, liturgy and projection technology.

“Just think of him as a worship leader, but with a projector and laptop instead of a guitar and microphone,” said Ken Davos, vice president at PTS. “Not only does he love to create these experiences, but he loves to teach others about visual worship and how art can play a powerful role in today’s Church.”

Proctor’s work has allowed him to collaborate with authors and artists such as Gungor, All Sons & Daughters, The Brilliance, Glenn Packiam, Paul Baloche, Ann Voskamp, Travis Cottrell, and Beth Moore. Proctor lives in Nashville, where he is a part of a collaborative community and studio space called WELD.

After the chapel service, there will be lunch and a time of Q&A with Proctor. All are invited, but asked to please call and RSVP with the Pentecostal Theological Seminary receptionist at 423-478-1131.
