“Tunes ‘4″ the Troops” collects new and used CDs, DVDs, and books on CD to send to our troops primarily in the combat zones. Kaylee initially started this effort during the summer of 2005 when she was only fourteen years old. As of 2007 she has collected over 100,000 CD’s and DVD’s, valued at over one million dollars. She has sent boxes of these donations to Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Korea, and Kosovo; to name a few. She has traveled to Washington, DC and personally made deliveries to Walter Reed Army Hospital and Bethesda Naval Hospital. She also received a personal invitation to Kings Bay Georgia to make a delivery to the USS Tennessee SSBN 734 Submarine.

Kaylee has been a special guest twice on the Montel Williams Show, made appearances on the Department of Defense’s Pentagon Military News Channel, has traveled extensively around the country promoting her project and has received numerous awards from national and state legislators.

Her latest project was to join with the Church of God Chaplains Commission to send to send over 1,700 new CD’s and DVD’s to nine Chaplains in Afghanistan, Iraq and afloat in the Persian Gulf. Each CD and DVD will be distributed by the Chaplains as a part of their ministry to their troops.

Kaylee represents, and is a role model for our youth around the nation. She is living proof that one person can, dedicated to a cause, affect change around the world and in the lives of thousands.
