The Church of God World Missions Board met recently in what has been described as one of the “most exciting and informative” meetings of this group of missions-minded leaders.
World Missions Director Timothy Hill, along with Assistant Director John D. Childers, in their on-going efforts to emphasize the global focus of the Church of God, held a joint session with the World Missions Board members and the newly-established FIND Coalition during the Monday meeting. FIND, working under the FINISH Challenge banner and led by Ken Anderson, the Coordinator of Unreached People Groups for Church of God World Missions, is tasked with finding and engaging unreached people groups, targeting primarily those in the 10/40 Window. General Overseer Dr. Mark Williams, World Missions Director Dr. Tim Hill, and UPG Coordinator Ken Anderson inspired the World Missions Board members and the group of more than 60 pastors and leaders who gathered to participate in the inaugural meeting. The powerful session ended in prayer for the world harvest and for those who have never had an opportunity to hear the gospel preached.

Another highlight of the meeting was the announcement that the giving to Marcelly’s Dream has exceeded $2,000,000 in donations. These funds represent Bibles, medical care, clean water and wells, buildings and renovations, education, and missionary care throughout the world. It has also enabled World Missions to continue assisting with funding for partner organizations: Men and Women of Action, People for Care and Learning, Volunteers in Medical Missions (VIMM), and Editorial Evangelica.
In addition, the World Missions Board voted unanimously to commend Director Tim Hill and Assistant Director John Childers with the following:
