Update from Standing Rock

SOUTH DAKOTA – Missionaries Carl and Anna Nobles share about the events that have recently taken place at the Standing Rock Reservation in South Dakota. God has been moving in this area!

God has been so good to us here on the Standing Rock Reservation; we have witnessed one miracle after another. We recently had our Kids Krusade through the help of the Beulah Church of God. They did a tremendous job ministering to our young people through singing, puppets, skits, and games. Their love and affection was far reaching into the communities of the Standing Rock Reservation. Members of the group also helped on our building; they painted several rooms and put up new shelves for our pantry downstairs.

We also had a group from Wisconsin that came out in June and did a VBS. Everyone enjoyed singing, Bible stories, and outdoor games and crafts. There was a lot of work done to the restroom. The group removed an old bathtub and sink, ran new plumbing, and bought a new vanity and utility sink. They also installed new ceiling fans. The young people from the group helped repaint the fellowship hall. Many other things were done and much was accomplished.

It seems like yesterday that we took our boys and girls to a weeklong Native American youth camp in Aberdeen. It was awesome to see young people weeping and receiving salvation.

Our yearly camp is a safe place for the less privileged kids to open up, share about their hurts, learn about the power of God, and have fun.
