ORU to Honor Alumnus Myles Munroe

TULSA, Okla. – On November 9, 2014, three Oral Roberts University alumni were killed in a tragic plane crash in Grand Bahama, Bahamas. Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder along with six others were on their way to a ministry conference. ORU will be honoring their memory through induction onto the Wall of Sacrifice as a part of Wednesday’s chapel service.

The Wall of Sacrifice honors members of the ORU community — alumni, students, and current and former trustees, faculty, and staff from 1965 to the present — who, in the act of taking the healing message of Jesus Christ to the world, suffered a sudden, unexpected, and untimely death.

When: Wednesday, February 18 at 11 a.m. CST. Event will conclude by noon.
Where: Christ’s Chapel on ORU’s campus

The media is invited to join ORU as they as they honor alumni Dr. Myles and Ruth Munroe and Dr. Richard Pinder with a formal induction onto the wall of sacrifice. A press box will be available. If unable to attend, ORU’s chapel service can be seen live at www.lifestream.tv/oruchapelservices.
