Pastoral Ministry Seminar Offered Through Charlotte Center

Dr. Greg Sloop, director of the Lee University Charlotte Center has announced a two-day intensive seminar for pastors to be held on the Charlotte, N.C. campus October 12-13, 2007.

A number of special guests are scheduled with a wide variety of pastoral and ministerial experience. Guest speakers will include Dr. Raymond Culpepper, first assistant general overseer for the Church of God, Dr. Donald Bowdle, Professor of Religion and History at Lee University, and the keynote speaker, Rev. Loran Livingston, pastor of the Central Church of God in Charlotte. Workshop speakers will include other experienced pastors and Lee University professors.

“If you desire a deeper knowledge of pastoral ministry, or would like to enrich your pastoral skills, you need to attend this special conference,” Dr. Sloop stated. Sloop indicated that the seminar can be audited for $75 or taken for credit at the rate of $276, which reflects a 40% ministerial discount if paid prior to October 1. Pre-registration is requested and registration at the door will require a $10 late fee.
