United States Congressman Chuck Fleishmann recently visited the Church of God Chaplains Commission to acknowledge the ministry support the Church of God provides to Veterans and military personnel through Church of God Chaplains.

Fleischmann, who represents the state of Tennessee in the third district, was interested in learning about the role the Commission plays in recruiting and endorsing Church of God ministers to serve as Veterans Affairs Chaplains and Military Chaplains.
While visiting the Commission, Congressman Fleischmann confirmed his support for the measure in the National Defense Authorization Act that guarantees the freedom for Military Chaplains to minister in accordance with their beliefs.
