Recently, the Churches of God in both Ukraine and Russia held their annual national assemblies. The Russian conference was held in Samara in southern Russia, hosted by Interim Overseer Anatoly Kravchenko’s congregation. This was the first time that the Russian conference was held in southern Russia.
The emphasis for this conference was on church planting and missions to the unreached people groups residing within Russia. Keynote speaker was Ukrainian Overseer Alexei Demidovich, who has years of experience in church planting and evangelism.
The Ukrainian conference was held in Slavyansk in a Soviet-era camping facility, which reminded everyone of the early days of the revival in Eastern Europe. The highlight of the conference was the presentation of 54 ministerial certificates.
