Certified financial statements of the Church of God International Offices, completed by the CPA firm, Arnett, Kirksey, Kimsey, Sullivan, Lay and Hall, PLLC of Cleveland, Tennessee, will be posted for viewing at a secure site beginning Thursday, November 15, 2012.
Members of the Church of God International Executive Committee voted to release the documents to, “demonstrate the value of the trust you have placed in us.” The documents are the most recent consolidated financial statements for the Church of God International Offices and World Missions, year ended August 31, 2011. The report has been subjected to the auditing procedures of the third-party accounting firm.
“The mission of the Church of God is to communicate the full gospel of Jesus Christ in the Spirit and power of Pentecost,” stated Church of God General Overseer Mark Williams. “Essential to the fulfillment of that mission is partnership, and at the heart of partnership is trust. Those who give to the Church of God are entitled to know what their tithes and offerings are supporting. An informed giver is a confident giver.”
The multi-page document will be available to credentialed Church of God ministers and local church treasurers who report electronically. The link is available at www.churchofgod.org [1] by clicking on the “Monthly Reporting” link. Those who are not registered can do so by following the step-by-step directions.
Due to the sensitivity of the information, the International Executive Committee has requested the highest level of confidentiality and for those who view the documents to refrain from duplicating and/or disseminating the information without prior consent from the International Executive Committee.
