The International Executive Committee is issuing a general call to prayer for the church in the form of an International Intercessors Conference scheduled for January 10-12, 2008 at the North Cleveland Church of God.
This intensive and exciting gathering will be a time for focusing on prayer for unreached people groups, pastors, and the Harvest. Participants will also zero in on their personal responsibilities for prayer for these groups. Following the two evening services will be a focused prayer experience on missions outside the United States (Thursday, 10PM) and Prayer for America (Friday at 10PM).
Leading the prayer, praise and worship over the three-day conference is an unprecedented lineup of speakers and musical guests. Featured on Thursday, January 10 will be the music of the award-winning Crabb family followed by a message from Jentezen Franklin, pastor of Free Chapel Worship Centers in Gainesville, Ga. and Visalia, Calif. Franklin’s message will be entitled, “Nation-Changing Prayer.” Franklin is featured on the cover of this month’s edition of Charisma magazine.
On Friday morning, January 11 the keynote address will be delivered by senior pastor of Trinity Chapel Church in Powder Springs, Ga., Jim Bolin. His message will focus on the topic, Church-Changing Prayer.”A 2:00PM afternoon prayer session will take place in the North Cleveland sanctuary and International Prayer Center, located at North Cleveland.
Highlighting the Friday evening lineup will be two outstanding musical guests. They will include Judy Jacobs, an internationally-known singer, evangelist and author. Also featured will be Rev. Steve Brock, recognized globally for his singing and association with Benny Hinn Ministries. Both Jacobs and Brock have been frequent guests and hosts on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. The Friday evening session will feature a message entitled “World-Changing Prayer,” led by Pastor Niko Njotorahardjo of Indonesia, which will be followed by a healing service.
On Saturday morning, January 12 at 10:00 a.m., Church of God General Overseer G. Dennis McGuire will lead a commissioning service with scripture and a call for “Personal Responsibility Prayer.”
There is no registration fee and the conference is open to everyone.
